KEETMANSHOOP, 09 MAY – A total of 203 students are expected to graduate from the University of Namibia (UNAM)’s Southern Campus on Tuesday.
The event will also mark the inaugural graduation ceremony for the campus which opened its doors in 2014 with only 50 students, and will accord qualifications in various fields.
Of the graduating class, 148 students will be from the Faculty of Education, 53 from the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences and two from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Speaking to Nampa on Tuesday, UNAM’s Public Relation Officer (PRO), Simon Namesho said that all the necessary arrangements are in place.
A team from Windhoek, he added, is ready to do all the necessary preparations for that day and the venue is also set.
Namesho confirmed that the Chancellor of UNAM Nangolo Mbumba and its outgoing Vice Chancellor, Lazarus Hangula will address the gathering.
