WINDHOEK, Feb. 13 – On the 10th of February, the Namibia Hunting Rifle Shooting Association (NHRSA) held the first competition leg for the 2018 season in
Swakopmund, in Cooperation with Namib Arms & Prima Slaghuis.
The competition was held at the Swakopmund Shooting Range with 115 entries of which 16 were first time competitors included 14 ladies, 12 children between the ages of 4 – 16 years, and 89 men.
With tricky terrain, windy conditions and an ever-present mirage yet again contributing to a challenging competition. The competition consisted out of 6 different ranges (2 gong ranges, and 4 life size ranges), with a maximum total score of 900 points (150 points per range).
