EENHANA, November 22 — Namibian artist Nghiitumu Nghifikepunye, popularly known as Ningiza, has dropped an independent album titled ‘INOKALA,’ marking a significant milestone in his musical career. Since his debut in 2020, the singer, hailing from Ohangwena and presently residing in Eenhana, has been making substantial waves in Namibia’s music scene.
In an exclusive interview with the Namibia Daily News, Ningiza credited the vibrant sounds of his hometown and the influence of renowned Namibian artists like Workforce Namibia and Sunny Boy for igniting his passion for music. His unique fusion of sounds, lyrical prowess, and innate ability to connect with his audience have solidified his position in the Kwaito music industry.
“Beyond my musical talents, I am a proficient mechanic, showcasing my aptitude not only for crafting melodies but also for working with machinery. This dual skill set adds depth to my character and enriches my artistic journey,” explained Ningiza.
Reflecting on his past collaborations, Ningiza highlighted the successful joint album “Delayed Talent,” created with the talented Pendarose in 2020.
