WINDHOEK, MAR 6 – The Ministry of Sports in collaboration with the Namibia Sports Commission, Namibia Football Association and the Brave Warriors Supporters Club has agreed to avail three (3) buses (65 seaters) for transporting Brave Warriors’ supporters to and from Zambia for the soccer match against Chipolopolo on 23 March.
The buses will each be stationed in Windhoek, Oshakati and Rundu respectively. People travelling from Windhoek are expected to contribute a fee of N$ 700 and the supporters in Oshakati will contribute N$ 500, while the people from Rundu will give N$ 400 and supporters from Katima Mulilo will have to contribute a minimum of N$ 350.
The funds contributed will be used for fuel and paying the drivers. The Namibian government can only cater for fuel within Namibian borders.
The contributions in Windhoek will be paid at the NFA & NSC offices and the points of payment in other towns will be announced soonest.
A Namibian passport and certified copy of your ID must be accompanied with your contributions fee, the passport will be returned upon completion of all relevant documents.
Seats won’t be booked in advance or “kept”. It is strictly a first come, first serve system.
The Organizing Committee is still working on getting affordable accommodation in Zambia for all supporters and talks are ongoing with the NFA Management to get replica shirts on an affordable rate for everyone.
