Walvis Bay, July 23 – A 33-year-old Motswana identified as Dithore Meliaye died on Friday evening, when a fully loaded trailer pressed him against the wheels at Puma service station in Gertrude Rikumbi Kandanga road, in Walvis Bay.
According to the Erongo Police, Meliaye allegedly got under the trailer, to fix something between the trailer and rear wheels but the fully loaded trailer pressed him against the wheels resulting in his death.
His body was transported to Walvis Bay Police mortuary for a postmortem.
Meliaye’s next of kin has been informed of his death and no fail play is suspected although police investigations are continuing.
