ONDANGWA, 17 July,2022 – A seven-year-old child identified as Joel Mpingana was run over by a vehicle as he crossed the road at Onethindi at 13h48 on Saturday.
He died at the scene of the accident.
Community Affairs Officer Inspector Ellen Nehale, said the 20-year-old driver of a white Volkswagen with Ondangwa registration was driving from Ondangwa to Onathinge at the time of the accident.
Nehale said the driver has been arrested a case of culpable homicide and driving without a licence is being investigated.
