Rehoboth, July 17 – In a concerted effort to address a long-standing land ownership dispute, Governor Salomon April and Constituency Councilor Gershon Dausab visited the Klein Tsumis community on Saturday, July 15. The community has been grappling with eviction orders issued by farmers who claim ownership of the land. The purpose of the visit was to find a viable solution to this pressing issue that has caused unrest among the residents.
Governor April, accompanied by Councillor Dausab, demonstrated a deep understanding of the concerns and fears that have plagued the Klein Tsumis community, which has faced the constant threat of expulsion. The contested farm has allegedly been purchased by farmers asserting ownership, necessitating immediate action.
