WINDHOEK, 18 July 2022 – The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources Derek Klazen has embarked on a week-long visit to Kavango East and West regions from 18-22 July.
According to a statement from the ministry, the visit is aimed at appraising the minister of the state of the inland fisheries and aquaculture development and facilities in the country and meeting the regional leaders.
The statement added that the minister is accompanied by fisheries deputy minister Silvia Makgone, executive director Annely Haiphene and ministerial staff.
The minister’s official event will take place tomorrow 19 July 2022 at Kavango River Lodge where he will deliver his keynote address at 14h00. – Namibia Daily News.
