Oshakati, July 26 — A 38-year-old Angolan woman had two bags stolen from her car as she parked it at the Engen service station, in Ongwediva at around 19h40 on Friday.
Police spokesperson Inspector Thomas Aiyambo confirmed the theft and said the woman parked her vehicle at the service station and got out to greet someone.
She allegedly left her handbag on the passenger’s seat and while she was busy talking to the other person, two unknown men walked into her vehicle and stole her handbag and another bag and ran away.
In the handbag were her passport, euro 10 000, US$10 000, Kwanzaa 200 and N$9535.
No arrests have been made but police investigations are continuing.
