Walvis Bay, Aug. 19 — A 43-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a friend’s minor on Wednesday between 10h00 and 16h00 at a house in Tutaleni, Walvis Bay.
According to the Erongo police, the suspect who is a family friend to the victim’s family, allegedly took the minor and other children to his house for a visit.
While at his house, he allegedly took the minor to his room and allegedly raped her.
The minor reported the abuse to her family who reported the incident to the Police.
The suspect is expected to appear in court at Walvis Bay on Monday next week.
Police investigations into the case are continuing.
