WINDHOEK, Sept. 14 — As part of new public health measures to curb the spread of Covid-19, President Hage Geingob has announced public gatherings will be increased to 150 from 100.
Curfew has also been extended starting at 11:00 PM and ending at 04:00 AM. Current measures will be enforced from 16/09/21 – 15/10/21.
- Sale of liquor remains as amended in early September
- No sale of alcohol on Sundays and public holidays
- However, hotels, guesthouses may serve alcohol with meals for guests Sunday to Sunday from 09:00 AM until 10:00 PM
- Covid burials to be done within 10 days
