SANGWALI, FEB 11 – Police in Sangwali are investigating a case of Murder read with provision of domestic violence after the body of Sishazi Winnie Mushomana, a Namibian female, was discovered in her courtyard. A Police Crime Update given on Thursday said that the crime is related to a domestic violence incident that occurred between Mushomana and her husband – a Zambian national – on Wednesday at around 21h00 at Sangwali area, Nsheshe village.
“A lifeless body of Sishazi Winnie Mushomana Namibian female born in 1982 was discovered in her courtyard behind a house with severe multiple cut injuries on her body. It is alleged that the deceased and her husband (Zambian male) who is born in 1969 had a fight before her lifeless body was found by neighbours.”
The report states that Mushomana’s seven year old son alerted the neighbours and directed them to the whereabouts of the body. It was not yet clear as to what object was used, however, the husband was arrested as the main suspect, while Mushomana’s next of kin were informed. –Â musa@namibiadailynews.info
