Oshakati, Aug. 22 — A 27-year-old teacher at Okathitu Combined school, who was identified as Hamana Walter Tukondjeni, was found hanging in his room at the teachers’ houses at about 16h30 on Sunday.
According to police Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, Tukondjeni, who was originally from Oshali-Ongenga, hanged himself with a rope in his sleeping room at the school in Okathitu-Kalyokotsandi village in Tsandi constituency.
No fault play is suspected as a suicide note was found in the room.
His next of kin has been informed of his death.
