Windhoek, 18 August – Two Chinese businesspersons were allegedly robbed of N$28 000 worth of cash and other items in Tsumeb between 06h00-07h00 on Thursday.
This comes after a Chinese national was robbed of N$1,5 million in Windhoek recently.
According to the police report, four unidentified men, armed with pangas and knives, forced their way into the Chinese nationals’ house and demanded money from them.
In a scuffle that ensured, one of the Chinese nationals was injured on his right hand before the suspects made off with cash amounting to N$8 000 and three cellphones and one Omega watch, all valued at N$28,000.
