OSHAKATI, Aug. 15- This year’s 26 August Heroes Day commemoration will be held in Oshakati, Oshana Governor Clemens Kashuupulwa confirmed yesterday.
The venue will be Oshakati Independence Stadium, where over thousands of people are expected to attend.
Kashuupulwa noted that many National, Local and Regional leaders will grace the event, and the keynote address will be done by the president Hage Geingob.
Various committees have been tasked with organising the event, while logistics on how attendees from other regions will be picked up will be announced at a later stage.
Kashuupulwa noted that preparations are underway as group of preparatory committee was selected to organize the event.- Maria Abraham
