Arandis, Sept. 3 – A man was killed and two other people sustained minor injuries in a car accident at about 19h00 on Friday about 17 kilometres from Arandis on the B2 road between Usakos and Arandis.
According to Erongo police, 28-year-old Bronwinn Ellitson was driving with two passengers from Usakos towards Arandis, with a black Mazda Demio when she lost control of the car and it overturned.
One passenger, Robert Uirab (36) died at the scene.
Ellitson and one passengers, Robert Garoeb (31) sustained minor injuries, and were transported to Swakopmund state hospital for observation.
Uirab’s next of kin have been informed of his death.
