RUNDU, 08 OCT – A 41-year-old man was stabbed at the Mayara village in the Mukwe Constituency Thursday and died over the weekend at the Rundu State Hospital.
The suspect in the matter allegedly also stabbed a woman, age not provided, who was admitted to the same hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Lukas Kapusha, according to Namibian Police Force Kavango East crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu.
He told Nampa on Monday the incident happened between 18h00 and 19h00.
Kanyetu said the victims were stabbed with a knife several times.
The suspect was arrested the same Thursday night.
