KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 9 — EXIM Bank Malaysia is strengthening Malaysia-Türkiye economic ties through the exchange of tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoUs), aimed at boosting trade, investment and the international expansion of Malaysian companies.
The bank said on Thursday it signed a tripartite MoU with Angsana Jaya and Turkish engineering firm Hoytek to promote technology collaboration, industrial capability development and market access.
EXIM Bank Malaysia has been supporting Angsana Jaya under its Malaysia Global Connect program, providing financing solutions while Hoytek contributes technical expertise.
Under the collaboration, EXIM Bank Malaysia will provide financial facilitation on a risk-managed and policy-aligned basis, while Hoytek contributes technical expertise to support Angsana Jaya’s expansion into Türkiye.
These MoUs build on a financial cooperation agreement signed on Jan. 7 in Ankara, witnessed by Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.(Namibia Daily News/Xinhua)
