Windhoek, Aug. 8 -– A contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (lung disease) has broken out and is spreading in our northern communal areas.
This was said by the minister of agriculture, water and land reform, Calle Schlettwein in a tweet.
He said the disease was introduced through cattle that are being herded from Angola into Namibia.
“We need to strictly adhere to vaccination campaigns to prevent losses through contagious diseases,” the minister said.
