MARIENTAL, Aug. 14 — As preparations for the Heroes Day celebrations that will be held at Mariental in the Hardap Region start, the governor’s office is looking for 100 unemployed youth to volunteer for the event.
The celebrations to commemorate the nation’s heroes will be on 26 August 2022.
The celebrations that were put on hold for the past two years because of the pandemic will now again be celebrated, which allows physical participation of the public.
Since this is one of the biggest holiday celebrations the Hardap governors offer an appeal for assistance from the youth in Mariental to make this a successful and memorable celebration in honour of those sons and daughters who fought for the liberation of the country.
Volunteers can submit their names at the office.
