Windhoek, 4 Nov – Pupils at Eluwa and Mweshipandeka secondary schools in Oshana region received donations of toiletries and food items from Rob Youth Foundation.
The foundation, which was founded in December 2019 to help pupils, started mobilizing the youth by the end of 2021 and has been assisting schools by providing them sanitary pads and food items in all 14 regions of Namibia.
Frans Eino said that the foundation believes playing its part in supporting the youth, and thanked teachers who woke up every morning to impart knowledge to pupils and said the pupils will be ones to look after them in future and encouraged them to work hard to make their dreams come true.
The Rob Foundation which was founded to tackle social and economic challenges faced by youth in and out of school, is not just about making a donation but the difference and that personal hygiene is one of the best ways to protect oneself from infectious diseases.
Beata Lita, chief education officer at lifelong learning delivered the speech on behalf of the regional director of Education Arts and Culture in Oshana region.
