MOSCOW, Oct. 7 — Russian forces carried out multiple overnight strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises in several regions, including Flamingo missile facilities, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
In Kiev and the surrounding region, three enterprises used for the assembly and storage of FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles and FP-9 missiles as well as drone production and assembly were hit.
The strikes also targeted facilities producing and storing components for FP-5 Flamingo missiles in Pryluky of the Chernihiv region and Lozova of the Kharkiv region; a drone component workshop in Oleksandriia of the Kirovohrad region; a rocket and space enterprise in Dnipro of the Dnipropetrovsk region used for the production, storage and supply of Flamingo missiles and drones; and some others.
On the maritime front, a ship repair plant producing and storing naval drones and their components was struck in the port of Izmail, while a dry cargo ship delivering military supplies was hit in the port of Odesa. (Namibia Daily News / Xinhua)
