Windhoek 12 Aug- Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) suspend Mr. Othniel Tjikuua who serves as Local Authority Councillor on the Grootfontein Local Authority Council. At a Management Committee Meeting of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), held 11 July 2019, a unanimous decision was taken to suspend Mr. Tjikuua’s membership to the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) with immediate effect. 2 Mr. Tjikuua is hereby forbidden to participate in any PDM activities including his work as the PDM representative in the Grootfontein Local Authority Council and its activities. Further, Mr. Tjikuua is suspended on grounds of gross insubordination and violation of the PDM Code of Conduct Schedule A(B). Mr. Tjikuua has further been given 14 days from receipt of the written letter to show cause as to why he should not be subjected to a disciplinary hearing.
