Omungwelume, Feb.10 -Former Ohangwena Governor Hon. Usko Nghaamwa donated 50,400 bricks worth N$195 000.00 today. This donation was given to the Omungwelume Senior Secondary in order to aid in the construction of school dining hall .
The former Governor also awarded a full scholarship to one of the best performing learner for grade 12 in the 2020 academic year; this leaner obtained 34 points with a B symbol in English. In addition, the Learner has enrolled at the University of Namibia, Hifukepunye Pohamba campus, majoring in the field of Education.The scholarship is to the tune of N$200 000.00 for a period of 4 years. It will be paid on a yearly basis and and an amount of N$ 50 000.00 will be availed to pay for each year for four years which is the entire duration of the course.
