Nedbank Namibia sponsored an awards ceremony for successful estate agents and agencies on Thursday, September 8th. The agents got certificates and gift cards for their exceptional performance at the award event held at the Nedbank Campus Sky Garden.
Riaan Keulder, Head of Home Loans at Nedbank Namibia, welcomed everyone to the awards ceremony and gave a brief overview of the year 2021. He said, “Interesting times have taught us to multitask and optimize ourselves to provide world-class service for our clients and stakeholders. We’re here tonight to thank everyone for their excellent business in 2021 and recognize the agents and agencies who helped us achieve our objectives, said Keulder.
JG van Graan, the chief financial officer of Nedbank Namibia, emphasized the value of realtors in society in his official remarks at the ceremony. “Every time you help a customer, you help them achieve their goal of owning a home. Your willingness to go above and above to offer financial guidance during the selling and purchasing processes demonstrates how much you identify with Nedbank’s mission to be money experts who do good.
“From a Nedbank perspective, we are delighted to state that we have funded loans totalling N$ 11 billion to local residential property and significant national projects. 5 billion of the N$11 billion are allocated to the home loans section. We aim to keep up our dedication to supporting the expansion of our home loans segment, said van Graan.
In categories such as “Agents accumulating business over N$ 3 million,” “Estate Agent of the Year,” and “Estate Agency of the Year,” agents and agencies were recognized at the award event. For completing home loan deals worth more than N$ 3 million, Anita Dames, Cathy Kruger, Claudia Lofty Eaton, Gretha dos Santos, Helvi Megameno, Lionel McPherson, Lona van Wyk, Louisa Schurz, Lourette Liebenberg, Lucas Boshoff, Lusia Hango, Lydia Kazimbu, Marion Wolf, Star Nghiyolwa, Stefanie Dames, Stefanus.
As the winner of the Estate Agent of the Year 2021 category, Marion Wolf of Rightmove Properties took home prizes like a N$ 20,000 advertising package and a N$ 10,000 gas gift card. Lourette Liebenberg of Rightmove Properties finished first runner-up in the same category. She received a bundle of advertisements worth N$ 15 000 and a N$ 7 000 fuel voucher. Lusia Hango from Catalea Properties came in third and won a package of ads worth N$ 10,000 and a fuel voucher for N$ 5,000.
Rightmove Properties received a $50,000 advertising package as well as the Agency of the Year 2021 award.
