WINDHOEK, Sept. 20 — The Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF), in collaboration with the Namibian Organics Association (NOA) and the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), is set to host a comprehensive Guest Lecture Series on Organic Agriculture from September to November 2023. This engaging series will take place at the NUST campus, providing a platform for experts, agriculture enthusiasts, and students to delve into the intricacies of organic farming, explore its advantages, and understand its pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future for Namibia.
Organic agriculture has garnered global attention for its holistic approach to farming, prioritizing sustainability, environmental preservation, and the production of wholesome, chemical-free food. The guest lecture series aims to equip attendees with a profound understanding of the principles, practices, and significance of organic farming in the contemporary world.
Distinguished guest speakers, including renowned organic experts, will share their knowledge regarding the benefits of organic farming and how its adoption as an agricultural system can contribute to a sustainable future for all in Namibia:

The Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in Southern Africa (KHSA), funded by the GIZ Knowledge Centre for Organic Agriculture, is the sponsor of this series. KHSA is part of a network of five hubs across Africa, led by in-country organizations committed to discovering, validating, and sharing knowledge related to organic and agroecological farming. NOA and NNF serve as KHSA in-country partners, with support from the Sustainability Institute.
