WINDHOEK, 29 OCT – Recipients of old age and disability grants will receive their pay-outs for November and December in a once-off grant of N.dollars 2 500.
The Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare in a media statement on Monday said the double payment will be effected at the end of November as is the usual practice towards the end of the year.
“From the month of January 2019 onwards, the eligible beneficiaries will receive their normal N.dollars 1 250 per month,” it said.
The ministry urged all beneficiaries to ensure that the grants are used for their own welfare, as well as that of their families.
