Border Patrol returns for a 10th season on CBS Reality

WINDHOEK, OCT. 25 – Border Patrol returns for an outstanding 10th series following the men, women, smart technology and clever animals working for New Zealand Customs Service, MPI Biosecurity NZ and Immigration.
Our camera’s are there around the clock following dedicated border staff working on the frontline checking for drugs, illegal goods, intercepting potential biosecurity risks and harmful diseases and the monitoring and screening of incoming passengers who may be undesirable arrivals who fit the desired criteria for entry.

Filming for this series took place at Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown International Airports, Air Cargo Inspection Facilities in Auckland and Christchurch and the International Mail Centre.

Among Customs interceptions at the border are drugs worth millions of dollars had they made it onto New Zealand streets. Viewers a firsthand view of seeing how Customs staff keep one step ahead of smugglers attempts to cleverly conceal large quantities of illegal drugs arriving thorough the International Mail Centre.

Also at the International mail centre and at International airports we follow MPI Biosecurity NZ officers as they monitor for undeclared food items, plant material, animal products and endangered species that could pose serious risks to New Zealand’s Biosecurity.

Our camera’s are there following Immigration New Zealand staff as they vigilantly monitor passengers arriving at Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown Airports who due to failing to meet the correct criteria receive unfavourable results, and are turned around to go back to where they came from.
