All roads leads to Rehoboth for the COPA Coca -Cola National Finals

 Rehoboth, 06 Aug -Rehoboth High school will host the national finals of the COPA Coca-Cola Under 15 national finals tournament. 14 boys’ teams who are representing all the regions in Namibia are competing for the prestigious national championship. The national finals will run from 08 to 10 August. Four girls’ teams will be participating in exhibition matches, with more girls teams expected to compete in the coming edition in 2020. In Africa, COPA Coca-Cola is played in 22 other countries that include Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Angola, Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda, Congo, Swaziland, Nigeria and South Africa, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Mauritius and Burundi. Outside the continent, COPA Coca-Cola is also played in the Americas, Europe and Asia and is in a total 68 countries over 1.3 million players.Namibia launched the COPA Coca-Cola tournament this year in May to nurture and identify soccer talent at grassroots level.  The tournament is run by Namibia Schools Sports Union (NSSU) and sponsored by Coca-Cola and its bottling partner Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in association with the government of Namibia.“We are expecting a thrilling tournament. Preparations have gone well and all is set for the national finals. As sponsors, we are glad that Namibia has joined more than 68 other countries who participate in this tournament.
