BEIJING, Nov. 2 — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted South Sandwich Islands Region at 1711 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 107.4 km, was initially determined to be at 56.16 degrees south latitude and 27.07 degrees west longitude. (Namibia Daily News / Xinhua)
