RUNDU, 12 JUN – Two people were injured in an accident at Ntara village in the Kavango West Region when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it overturned on Saturday.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigation coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Rudolf Mutonga told Nampa on Monday that the accident occurred at around 22h25.
“The driver was trying to avoid driving into cattle standing in the road at the village between Nkurenkuru and Rundu,” he said.
Both occupants sustained injuries and were taken to the Rundu State Hospital.
They were reported to be in stable condition.
