Man stabbed with broken bottle at Sesfontein

WINDHOEK, 07 JUN – The police at Sesfontein are looking for an 18-year-old suspect who allegedly stabbed a man on Tuesday.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator for the Kunene Region, Deputy Commissioner Rudolf Kanyetu told Nampa the incident occurred around 17h00.
“The suspect stabbed Salatiel Awiseb on the head, back and left elbow with a broken bottle,” he said, adding that the suspect fled the scene.
Kanyetu said Awiseb had apparently asked the suspect for money owed to him.
He was taken to the Sesfontein Health Centre for treatment and was later transferred to the Opuwo District Hospital.
