Nkurenkuru, April 18- The resident of Nkurenkuru embarked on a cleaning campaign on Saturday in order to keep the town clean.

Joining the residents of Nkurenkuru, were members of the Namibian police together with the town CEO Mr Sindimba Sikongo.

Nkurenkuru Youth activists Mr Simuku Paulus(Kafu) edged all the youth in the town to take part in the cleaning campaign, he said “a clean town attracts visitors and developers. The reason why they are cutting down trees and small bushes is because most crimes happen there, lets clean where we can.” The theme of the campaign was :reducing crime in town and having a clean environment.
The cleaning campaign will continue till next week Saturday.
