Windhoek, Feb 27- On Friday 25 February 2022, 10 lucky winners of brand new cars in the MTC Mega Summer Spin & Win campaign could not contain their excitement when they were officially handed over their respective vehicles during a spectacular grand handover ceremony held at MTC’s Head Office in Windhoek.
10 contestants whose luck gloriously paid off, received the keys to their vehicles which they won in the recently ended three-months long MTC Spin & Win campaign which ran from 09 December 2021 to 23rd February 2022 and was televised live every Wednesday on nbc1.
The winners who hail from different parts of the country are Charl Janse Van Rensburg (Aranos), Randy Bock (Okahandja), Ronaldo Uirab (Outjo), Simeon Kaevarua (Windhoek), Daniel Nuunyango
(Keetmanshoop), Elsie Karuhe (Otjituuo), Welhemina Shaningua (Walvis Bay), Moses Dulla (Oshakati),Emilia Nyau (Oshigambo), and Gideon Kamburona (Otjinene).
The cars won are Toyota Hilux, Starlet, and Corolla quest in particular.
70 years old pensioner, Emilia Nyau (Oshigambo) who works for Namibia Rural Women Assembly said “the car will be helpful in executing my job with ease.” In disbelief, Nyau furthered that she will now be able to visit more communities with her programme to assist more women in her region (Oshikoto).
The youngest winner of the competition is a 19 years old Moses Dulla (Oshakati) who was short of words to express himself. Briefly, but with great enthusiasm, Dulla highlighted that he is going to use the car for business purpose. “This will make things easier for my business, because I will no longer have to utilize public transport for my business trips.”
MTC’s Chief Human Capital and Corporate Affairs Officer, Tim Ekandjo said during the ceremony that MTC will invariably value and appreciate its customers. “We will always, meaningfully, appreciate our customers by constantly giving back to them in any form possible. just a mobile operator. We are a true Namibian entity that helps to fulfill dreams of our people.”
