Oshakati, July 26 – Ondangwa police have arrested a 58-year-old Namibian man after he shoot two youths aged 25 years and 17 years, from Osholuyu village, Eheke on Monday 25.07.2022 at around 12:30 at Okasisiti Cuca shop at Osholuyu village.
It is alleged that the suspect came to the cuca shops and parked his Toyota pickup under a tree. He took out his shotgun and shot the first victim in the neck and right arm before shooting the second on the head and the back.
The two are reported to be in stable condition at Onandjokwe intermediate hospital.
The suspect was arrested and the shotgun was confiscated by the police.
The motive behind the shooting could not be established. Police investigations are continuing.
