Two found in possession of cannabis at Mpora

RUNDU, 05 APR – Two people were found in possession of cannabis at Mpora village in the Kavango West Region last Friday.
The man and woman, whose ages were not provided, were arrested around 23h00, the Namibian Police Force’s Regional Commander, Commissioner Josephat Abel told Nampa on Thursday.
Fifty-six small parcels of cannabis were found in the woman’s sleeping hut during a police search, while the man had four small parcels of cannabis in his possession.
The police could not provide the value of the cannabis as it had not yet been weighed.
In an unrelated incident, a 35-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for driving five heads of cattle from a farm to Cause village without the consent of the owner.
The cattle, which were recovered by the police, are valued at N.dollars 15 000.
