Police investigate weekend deaths at Omusati

OUTAPI, March 12 – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in Omusati has is busy on an inquest, after a 36 year old man was found dead on his bed at Oshifo in the Omusati region on Friday.
A crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force on Monday said the man might have died in his sleep at about 00:30 at his house at one of the NHE houses.

A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death while police investigate into the matter.
Meanwhile, Nampol also reported one suicide in Okahao after the body of Aune Gebhard was found hanging from a tree near her house at Otsalindi village of the Otamanzi village on Saturday.
The police said Gebhard was last seen on the 08 March 2019 at around 22:00 after eating dinner with her grandchildren.
No suicide note was left and her next of kin have been informed, and police are busy investigating the matter. – NDN Staffer
