Must-see drama Series Gangaa on Zee World

WINDHOEK, OCT. 16 – Edge-of-your-seat drama series, Gangaa will be premiering on Zee World (DStv 166), Wednesday, 18 October at 21:00.

Gangaa tells the story of a young girl, married off as child bride. She suddenly becomes a widow and an orphan when both her husband and father die on her wedding day. Sent to a home for widows, she finds herself fighting injustice as she is forced to live a mundane life with no future.

It seems there is light at the end of the tunnel when is she is adopted by Niranjan and his son Sagar with whom she develops a friendship. However, Niranjan’s mother, also a widow, does not want Gangaa in the household, and makes her life harder. Her friendship with Sagar is also cut short when he is away to school.

As Gangaa grows older, her love for Sagar becomes stronger. However, when Sagar returns home he is not interested in a relationship. She faces more heartache, and it seems she’s destined for a life of frustration and sorrow.

Gangaa is about the resilient human spirit that bounces back from tragedy and keeps fighting for its livelihood.
