MTCs Leonardville tower collapses

WINDHOEK, Oct. 3 – On Saturday 30th September 2017 during a repair process to fix a bend guy rope on a 150-meter guy mast tower belonging to MTC, an incident occurred that resulted in the collapse of the Leonardville tower. No injuries were recorded.
All services are currently down.

“Our network teams are on site, making the necessary effort to minimize the down time, and to fast-track the refurbishment of service to the village,” read a statement from MTC.
“Tentatively, we anticipate to have solve the latter by latest Wednesday this week. Coverage to the outskirts will however not be possible until the tower has been rebuilt.” – NDN Staffer
