RUNDU, 15 MAY – A 31-year-old man was stabbed to death with a knife at Wiwi village in the Kavango West Region, the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) said on Tuesday.
The incident took place between 19h00 and 20h00 on Sunday, NamPol Commander for the Kavango West Region, Commissioner Josephat Abel said.
The exact cause of the incident is still unknown, however, according to Abel, a suspect stabbed the deceased with a knife on the chest and he died instantly.
The deceased has been identified as an Angolan national who was working as a cattle herder.
His next of kin have not yet been informed of his death and police investigations into the matter continue.
