Hoachanas murder case postponed to May

REHOBOTH, 26 MAR – An 18-year-old man, Elvis Skrywer, accused of allegedly murdering a 20-year-old man at Hoachanas settlement in the Hardap Region, made his first appearance in the Aranos Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Agatha Okamaru.
It is alleged that a fight broke out between Skrywer and Francis Bostander at a liquor outlet in Hoachanas Friday night.
The accused reportedly stabbed Bostander six times.
The matter was postponed to 30 May for investigations in the matter to continue.
Skrywer was denied bail on the grounds of the matter being at an early stage and was remanded in custody at the Hoachanas holding cells.
