DHPS girls lose to Immanuel Shifidi in NBSL senior basketball


WINDHOEK, APRIL 7 – The past weekend saw the Namibia Basketball School League (NBSL) host a weekend of games on Friday,5th April 2019 and Saturday, 6th April 2019 at the Deutsche Hohere PrivateSchule (DHPS) on both days. The hosts U19 team fell by a score of 35 – 49 in favour of Immanuel Shifidi’s U19 squad. Meanwhile Academia’s U19 girls need to put in a lot more work if they are to move on from a horrific 69 – 0 defeat they faced at the hands of Khomas High’s U19 team.

In the only U19 match for boys, CMZ came out on top of Khomas High by a score of 67 – 41

The school league is divided into 4 divisions which are U11 (mixed teams), U14 (girls and boys), U16 (girls and boys) and U19 (girls and boys). For the
