WINDHOEK, JULY 14 – HISTORY Vault™ will launch on 24 July and will be available to DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact customers on Catch Up on DStv Now online or through the app, and also on Catch Up Plus on Exploras connected to the internet.
Customers will be able to climb the pyramids, share the travel to space experience and ex-plore the American Frontier all at the touch of a button. This is HISTORY’s first direct-to-consumer, video-on-demand service, designed for information junkies, history lovers and HISTORY fans, offering a broad array of curated collections and content to satisfy with hours of streaming content.
Fans of the channel will be able to access a wide collection of historical subjects such as World War II: The World in Crisis, Prehistoric Humans and Creatures, the Secrets of the Dark Ages and can journey to uncover some of the most infamous vices in Sex, Drugs and Rock n’ Roll. The HISTORY Vault™ will be refreshed on a weekly basis, so customers are encouraged to keep checking back for new wonders to discover.
On offer will be series such as Modern Marvels: Engineering, Mankind the Story of All of Us, fan favourite documentaries like Temples, Tombs and Mummies, Wild About the West, and a smorgasbord of topics like space exploration, the Bible, legendary leaders, the history of Planes, Trains and Automobiles and much more – NDN Staffer
